Privacy
We built My Child Profile to help parents gather what they already know about their child - privately. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and how it's handled.
What we collect
- Account details - your email and a password (or a Google sign-in token).
- Profile content - the answers you choose to save while building a profile.
- Basic technical data - minimal logs needed to keep the service running and secure.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't share your child's profile with anyone unless you choose to.
- We don't run third-party advertising or tracking on your saved data.
How long we keep it
Profiles you save expire automatically 14 days after your last activity, and are then permanently deleted. You can delete any profile yourself at any time from your dashboard.
AI-generated reports
When you ask for a report, the answers you've entered are sent to an AI model to produce a structured summary. We don't use your data to train models. AI summaries are an aid - not a clinical assessment.
Your rights
You can access, export or delete your data at any time. To request anything we haven't made self-serve, email hello@mychildprofile.app.
Children
Accounts are intended for parents and carers. Children may participate in answering with a parent - but the account holder is responsible for the profile.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll let active account holders know by email.
